PONY DIVISION

Pony Division is for players who turn 13 before August 31 and turn 14 after April 30 of the current year.

Our teams are managed by experienced professional and volunteer coaches.  We play in a county-wide league on diamonds with 80-foot base paths, 54-foot pitching distance.

There are three sub-divisions that are agreed upon by the coaches at the beginning of each season:

  • Cascade Division is for players who have the commitment to play high quality, competitive, recreational baseball. Cascade teams play about 30 games during the season.
  • Olympic Division is for players who have the skills and commitment to compete at the highest level in the county. Olympic teams play up to 40 games during the season, with weekly skills and physical training starting in January, 2013.
  • P13 Division is for 13 year old players who have the skills and commitment to compete at the highest level in the county against other P13 teams.  P13 teams play about 35 games and may compete in select tournaments.

Pony Division requires more dedication and commitment than do the younger divisions. Players and teams are competitive, successful, and enjoy the experience more when they make a considerable commitment of time and energy to both games and practice.

* We will make every effort to assign every registrant to a team.  On rare occasions, there are circumstances that make it impossible to place everybody.
