PONY is an acronym for the League Motto of "Protect Our Nation's Youth".

The goal of PONY Baseball is to provide a safe, competitive baseball experience for children; to foster good sportsmanship, and promote physical fitness with the belief that these attributes will help guide the players into becoming happy and healthy young adults.

Why choose PONY Baseball?

PONY Baseball is structured to introduce the players to new aspects of the game as they grow, and to scale the field size accordingly. This constant evolution keeps the game fresh and challenging to the players as well as the coaches.

PONY Baseball offers a competitive yet fun baseball experience for everyone.

While some of the differences noted above may not seem significant, it is important to note that once a player reaches the Bronco level (ages 11 and 12) they are being introduced to the full game of baseball - leading off and stealing, balks, dropped 3rd strikes - while a player of the same age in Little League would not get this experience.
