Summer Crush 2024 Registration Open
Summer Crush 2024 registration is now open!
Summer Crush is West Seattle Baseball´s fun summer games only league that combines some of the organizational elements of the spring league with some of the sandlot-style baseball fun. It is also an opportunity for more reps and new positions in a fun, low-stress situation. Sign up today!
Crush is divided into three divisions, 8u, 10u, and 12u (in PONY-speak, that´s Pinto, Mustang, and Bronco).
Mustang plays on Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30pm-7:30pm. Pinto and Bronco will play on Monday and Wednesdays 5:30-7:30pm.
8u Pinto is 2 innings of player pitch and 4 innings of coach pitch. The older two divisions are entirely player-pitch.
Teams and rosters are usually larger in size to allow for the busy summer months spending time with our families.
Players and families can use Crush to get a light introduction to the next future division. Most commonly, players play in the same division and level that they played during the Spring season. Players are not allowed to ¨play down” however.
The WSB community is successful because of volunteers. Every one of you is a Coach whether you know it or not and we need you. Crush is a great time to get involved. Every team needs coaching help to make games run smoothly and efficiently. If you are ready to be apart of the WSB volunteer coaches, please note your interest when registering.

Where
Ideally, we like to have all events at the West Seattle Pee-Wee fields and (upper) Riverview Playfields for Bronco. Some seasonal team activities are likely to be held on the artificial turf available to us at Southwest Athletic Complex (a.k.a. SWAC or Sealth High School). When available, however, we endeavor to keep our teams and league community at the Pee-Wee fields.

Softball – Tuesdays and Fridays 5:30-7:30pm
This division will spend its first week of the 6 weeks going through introductions and assessments to allow a safe and balanced team format for the remaining weeks. The goal is to identify their knowledge and skill set to aptly teach and help gain confidence in their abilities. Division will probably be in the Pinto (8u), Mustang (10u) and Bronco (12u) range, however that is subject to registration. Weeks to include instruction, games, and guest Coaches. The season will conclude with the Softball World Series on 8/16.

Shetland/T-ball Instructional division
This division will be 6 weeks on Thursday nights 5-6pm and continue to be a fun T-ball (6u) level of baseball for the kids to run around and play some ball.
