Summer Clinics & Camps
The Pee Wee Fields will be hosting a few clinics and camps this summer for 5-12 year olds. These camps are independent and operated outside of West Seattle Baseball but are endorsed by our league.
Summer Camps with Jing Gardner (former WSBB player and UW Softball player) and Clinton Turpen (WSBB coach, High School Baseball coach and independent instructor)
Jing and Clinton will be hosting individual lessons for softball and baseball, or 2-day camps for softball only. At the individual lesson, tailored workouts will be created to improve the athlete’s abilities while doing it in fun, creative ways. The 2-day camp offers a small offers a small group environment where athletes can grow from one another while receiving individualized feedback.

14th Annual Summer Sandlot Games Camps run by Mark Linden, Baseball Positive
Baseball Positive is back, running two fast paced and informative camps in West Seattle. WSBB families, this is a terrific opportunity for your kids to have fun playing and learning baseball at camp this summer. Mark Linden, long-time friend and mentor of West Seattle Baseball, leads the camps.
Teaching the batting swing and playing games are the emphasis of the camp. Woven into the games format is teaching fundamental skills: throwing, catching, fielding, baserunning, and coordinated team defensive play.
Players are taught ‘How to Play the Game’. Camp coaches are on the field during the games, teaching the players based on in-game situations. All instructors are expertly trained members of the Baseball Positive coaching staff.
There are two opportunities in West Seattle to catch a Baseball Positive camp:
June 24-27 at Riverview Playfield
August 5-8 at Pee Wee Fields

Coach Ballgame’s Sandlot Camp
West Seattle Baseball is proud to sponsor a stop on Coach Ballgame’s National Sandlot Tour!
On 8/10/2024 from 5PM-8PM, Coach Ballgame will host a 3-hour camp providing young players, ages 5-12, an opportunity to continue learning the basic skills of the game in a no pressure environment, and have an outrageous amount of fun. Each player will get a nickname, hear inspirational stories of baseball legends, and build character by learning what being a ball player is all about.
